why?

Why do y'all think celebs particulary girls, like Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale, grow up so fast? What influences them? Who influences them?

Thanks! :)

  1. I don't think that they grow up too fast, i think that because they're in the spotlight so any mistake they make is going to be over exaggerated and blown out of proportion. MyCy is our age, and to be honest, the things that people criticize her for are not that bad in my opinion. Of course I think its bad because so many young girls are looking up to her as a celebrity/role model, but as a teenage girl, she's really just living life (if that makes sense). Tizzy is in her 20's, i really don't think she grew up fast. My name twin (Vanessa Anne) did have a slip up in her career with her nude photos, and defending her is not easy, but again, things like that happen constantly but the defining factor is that she's a celebrity and has young fans. I have a different opinion than most, i know, but I always kinda sympathize with celebrities because they can never catch a break.

  2. I think so much of the entertainment industry is about attention, and these girls realize that the more they receive the more successful they become. Eventually however what originally made them famous for example miley cyrus's music isn't getting them enough attention so these girls try to get more of it by doing outlandish things like wearing a stripper/eagle costume in a music video

  3. I'm not sure if it's that they're growing up too fast, but the idea that their image and their fan base is not. They start out with an image as clean cut innocent girls, which is fitting for their young age. But once they get older, they want to break away from that image. Though, the nude photos with Vanessa were before her career skyrocketed and they were basically what some teenage girls do now. Ashley Tisdale was already older when her career started peaking. With Miley Cyrus, she's making a lot of mistakes and not realizing the whole world is watching, especially with her "private" life, like things concerning her boyfriends. I agree with Vanessa, that there's not enough sympathy towards them sometimes.

  4. I think that these girls struggle with separating themselves from their much younger fan bases. The problem with Disney is that they have trouble with letting these celebrities create identities for themselves outside of the characters they play on television. This in turn creates conflict when these girls act out or try to create new roles for themselves.
